At some point someone has probably told you sodas are bad for your teeth…I agree. A recent study published in Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention, suggests that drinking sugar sodas significantly increases your risk of pancreatic cancer. Drinking 2 or more sodas a week could increase cancer risk by 87%. I personally would take this with a grain of salt, because the study design was not that great. However, I think there are a lot of other compelling reasons to limit your soda intake (both diet and sugar). Brewed tea and seltzer water are good alternative options if you don’t like to hydrate with water.
